PEOPLE BEHIND IABOWLING
It doesn’t take one person to run this show. Fortunately we have attracted some of bowling’s best individuals to be on our team.
They have heart, soul, and bleed bowling. Together, we can’t lose.
Diandra developed a passion for coaching because of all the amazing coaches she has had in her life. (From the youth bowling coaches back in Dyer, Indiana, to her University of Nebraska coaches, and on to her Team USA coaches). She now has developed the ability to pass that knowledge onto bowlers of all ages, levels, and styles. Her best feelings come not from winning tournaments, but from seeing others grow from the knowledge they gain from her experiences and expertise. She is a USBC Silver Level coach, a Team USA member for 15 years, 3 Time World Bowler of the Year and the 2012 Queens Champion.
Jason started traveling around the world since the age of 16 and has met many great bowlers, friends, and coaches along the way. He won his first tournament when he was 4 and considers his bowling style to be ‘normal’. He has represented Australia since 2001 and has won over 25 medals for his country. Jason is a USBC Silver Level coach, and despite popular belief, can coach a one-handed bowler. He now as 8 National PBA titles, is the reinging PBA Player of the Year, Tournament of Champions Champion, 2013 and 2014 USBC Masters Champion. But his greatest achievements include tricking his wife, Kimberly, into marrying him, and his daughter Aria and son Hugo.

Bill is a 3-time National & 9-time Regional PBA Champion and is a member of six bowling Halls of Fame, including the USBC Hall of Fame. He penned “Bill Spigner’s Bowling Clinic” for Bowling Digest magazine for over 20 years and he’s written “The Pro Approach” for Bowlers Journal magazine since 2008. Bill was named one of the first 20 USBC Gold Level certified coaches in in 2000, and has coached many notable professional bowlers including Johnny Petraglia, Chris Loschetter and Carmen Salvino. He makes time to enjoy hot yoga and has been known to grill when it is -20 degrees (Fahrenheit) outside.

Joe has been working in the pro-shop business for over 40 years and counting. His specialties include: ball measuring and drilling, the intricacies of ball motion, understanding core/cover dynamics and choosing correct ball to oil patterns match-ups. He is a USBC Bronze Level certified coach and is determined to continue to learn, adapt and accept new ideas in this ever changing game. In his free time, Joe enjoys taste testing beers from around the world and cheering on the Green Bay Packers (sorry, Diandra!).
Michael is the head coach of Cocoa High School (FL) varsity bowling and runs one of the largest bowling YouTube channels. He loves “country fried chicken,” although we’re not sure what other kind of fried chicken there is. His bad habits are twirling his hair between his fingers and drinking too much Mountain Dew. When it comes to superstitions, superstition is his only one, claiming that it is “unlucky to be superstitious.”
Steve graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in Bowling Industry Management. He began coaching collegiately at Wisconsin – Whitewater and is currently at Stephen F. Austin. Spanning both schools, Steve has led his teams to the ITC’s for five-straight years. Steve also works for Bowling.com, and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, and cheering on the Packers (sorry again, Diandra!).
From the videographers to the designers, IAB couldn’t be possible without such a creative and dedicated team! All of our team members also work on other projects, so if you need some creative talent, we highly recommend getting in touch with them.
You may have already met Whitney – she was one of our first interns. We loved her passion and dedication, so we hired her as a manager. She has lived in 5 states in a two year span – it’s a good thing she likes road trips. She’ll never turn down french fries, Starbucks, or the chance to learn something new. You can find To Do lists on post-it notes all over her desk. She constantly debates the question: If a turtle doesn’t have a shell, is it naked or homeless?
Pat is our awesome videographer. He has lived in 16 different states, including Hawaii (how awesome)! Pat is extremely ticklish and will scream like a baby if you get to him. He can name the United States presidents in order, would love to have lunch with Albert Einstein, and wants to meet the friendly ghost that lives in his apartment.
Meet Sherif. He’s a designer extrodinaire. He takes our doodles and turns them into works of art. If you want to see more his genius, check out chubbystudios.com
Bryan Manno, Esquire
No seriously – the esquire part is real. Bryan wanted to be a professional singer and bowler, so naturally, he studied business and became a lawyer. His office is in a perpetual state of organized chaos, which is just how he likes it! He makes hotel reservations based on where the best food is in town, and morphs into a nasty person if he does not get his coffee first thing in the morning. Us too, Bryan… us too.
Alexa is our blogger. Diandra stumbled across some of her posts and we just HAD to have her as part of our team! We can always count on her for a piece of gum or to go running to pet a dog. When she goes on a trip, she will come back with a souvenir t-shirt even though she has hundreds. If she was born a bit early, she would have been named after Garth Brooks – Gartha or Brooksey anyone? We’ll stick with Alexa.
This New Orleans native loves Italian food and has a serious coffee addiction. Despite having a background in dance, she is extremely clumsy. Her dog, Kaiser, loves to chase flies while Darian jams out to all types of music (Carrie Underwood, Drake, Ellie Goulding, Halestorm, etc.). Her biggest fear: Spiders.
Yeah, we thought it was a cool name too. Fun fact: her sister chose her name! She thinks macaroni and cheese is the best invention ever, along with ice cream. Her cat Dexter does not reciprocate her obsession with him. She loves to get lost in a book or a sappy movie and has to avoid Bath and Body Works in the fall or she’ll spend all her money.
John is from California, likes having picnics and going for long walks on the beach at sunset… wait, this isn’t a dating website. John bowls with #2Hands and enjoys teaching kids all kinds of sports. He likes to mix up his hairstyle daily and tends to go overboard on the toothpaste. John finds PB&J sandwiches quite delicious, in fact he may be eating one as you read this.
