We applaud you for taking the initiative to improve your bowling and learn more about this amazing sport. IAB plans on filling you with information over your bootcamp weekend. We strive to teach while having fun and you will leave feeling proud and exited about bowling again. All we ask is that you keep an open mind, try new things, ask questions, and be ready to bowl….a lot!
When you arrive at bowling center you can place your equipment off to the side somewhere. Next, head over to the check in table and get your nametag and verify you have arrived. We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to classroom start time each day. Once you have checked in, feel free to introduce yourselves to other campers and get to know one another. We will invite all campers into the classroom at the same time.
We don’t really have a dress code . Just remember to dress comfortably for bowling and be aware that children often attend so please keep attire appropriate.
What to Bring
Bowling Equipment: It is not necessary to bring every bowling ball you own unless you have specific questions about your arsenal. Don’t forget your shoes.
We will assist teaching proper use of bowlers tape for proper thumbhole fit. Bring bowlers tape if you have it. Turbo Grips will provide samples of tape for use on thumbs.
All 2-Day Bootcampers will receive a Frameworks journal for note taking. If you are a 1-day camper, you may purchase a Frameworks journal or bring a notebook with you.
Parents, friends or spouses who are not attending will be invited into the classroom for introductions. After introductions conclude, spectators will be asked to leave the classroom. Spectators are more than welcome to observe the on-lane portion of instruction from behind the settee area.
Will be at approximately 12:00pm each day. We schedule lunch for one hour to allow ample time for all campers to get food. You may purchase food from the bowling center snack bar or restaurant or leave briefly to a nearby place to eat if you wish.
Autographs / Photos
We will reserve time Sunday for photo and autograph session with the IAB Team. They will be happy to sign anything you bring or purchase at the IAB Bootcamp. The team also has signature cards that will be provided to each camper.
Thank you for choosing IAB to help you Master Your Craft! We can’t wait to meet you!
